Hello from Tokyo

Mensaje por William Byrd » Mié Jun 27, 2018 12:57 pm

Greetings All,

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I currently reside in Tokyo, but have spent the majority of my life abroad in various countries. I am new to classical guitar as well as reading music, so I suspect I am in for a rather steep learning curve, but I feel I am up to the task.

Hi William. Welcome.

I am an occasional interloper on the Spanish board, just to be able to garner additional information. But as an English-speaking individual, my main interactions are on the English board. I presume you are also on the English board. Having access to both boards, definitely provides an extra bonus.

Judy.

Hello William Byrd--as in the composer? :) I always enjoyed your vocal works. Best wishes in learning the classical guitar!

Not only was there a William Byrd the composer, there was also a William Byrd in Virginia during colonial times growing tobacco and ginseng.

Bill,
Do we need to join a specific group on this forum to qualify for the exams?

Either lesson 7 or 8, one of the moderators will post instructions as well as the piece we have to perform for the final exam. You're good for now as you are on the Spanish forum. Just keep submitting the lessons and watch for the exam notice.

Whassup Bill!?

Nice to see some familiar faces over here. I was kind of overwhelmed at the idea of joining a whole new forum.

I just control click on the page and translate it to English. It's good enough for my needs, plus, we are really only posting our exam piece here for now. Just remember to check in from time to time so they don't cut you from the forum.
